Our education goal is to equip the next generation of North West Ugandans and Southern Sudanese to be Christ followers and change agents through nationally recognized, Christ-centered education.
To develop the next generation of Christians who will carry God’s purposes forth through Christ-centered academics and Bible instruction.
Calvary School staff are led by strong, Christian leaders and well-respected educators who are committed to the well-being of each student.
To offer academic excellence contributing to the future well-being of local families.
2010 national test results placed Calvary School at above average national standards and well above local standards.
To disciple children, believers and non believers alike.
Southern Sudanese families have already moved into the area temporarily for the sole purpose of providing higher level academics for their children while several local children, believers and non believers alike, will be discipled with the hope and truth of Jesus Christ.
In 2010, we provided Christian education for 57 students
In 2011, the number of students who arrived for registration is 116
Of the 116 students: 75 students are from our church families, 41 students are from outside of the church, and 10 are from South Sudan
We are excited for this wonderful opportunity to increase our ministry reach. In order to do so, we have an need to continue school expansion each year. This includes constructing classrooms and housing, hiring new teachers, and purchasing desks, chairs, and other supplies. Since most of our pupils are unable to afford more than the minimal school fees, support is required to offset some of the major upfront and operational costs.
