Nuba
In all of Sudan, the area that has experienced the greatest persecution and warfare is the Nuba mountains region of central Sudan. Safe Harbor was able to send a team of pastors and missionaries into this volatile area, on a mission of encouragement to the Christian pastors of the Nuba Mountains. A Safe Harbor team once again entered the volatile region of the Nuba Mountains in June of 1999 where the Lord allowed us to minister to the many of the over 6,000 children orphaned as the direct result of the persecution from the northern government military.

Safe Harbor International exists to glorify God; to share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ with people living in spiritual darkness, despair and poverty. This is accomplished through ministry, development, training and relief.
